Gray and overcast. Same as yesterday(s).
Current temp is 12.3°C in and 2.4°C out .
Shopping. Just the regular wine and fruit and coffee. And a bunch of pralines 5aka Belgian chocolates.
I am not feeling too well so I don't do much for dinner. Just rice with some vegetables.

Merry Christmas
White christmas weather. A bit dirty white maybe.
Ok ok, grey. With drizzle and a bit of wind
Current temp is 11.4°C in and 2.0°C out .
I sleep in. Till way past 10:00. Yep I do that once or twice a year. (OK, I cheated, I got up at 06:00 as usual but got back to bed half an hour later. )
Dinner is a big roast with a wine sauce. Served with sprouts and chicory and potatoes. Not special or traditional Christmas dinner but we never did that.

Overcast still but there is variation. Lots of white and blue clouds hovering over a grey background. But the blue leaks out, contaminating and later overpowering the grey. Could be called nice weather.
Then at about 16:00 it clouds over again. But with snow-clouds with their strange effect on illumination. Of course the moment it starts to snow everything turns dark. Everything except the ground of course ^_^
Current temp is 11.2°C in and -2.3°C out .
The best part of the holidays is that there is less work. So less users working. Which translates in less support. And that means I get on fairly well with the translations.
Of course there is still a bit of yesterday's roast left so I drop the thick sliced in a pan and bake them up, just long enough to get them warm, I don't want to double-cook it.

Intel has always been behind with feeding data to the core. ( http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28533 ) Intel can hardly go any other way but follow where Alpha lead. I think they would have gone that way long before if AMD had not done so but at the time that would have made Intel not in a leading but a following company. Which was too hard to swallow at the time.

It perfectly nice outside. Just freezing a bit with snow falling. Not the nice sticky flakes that are so good for kids to play in but very fine snow-dust crystals. Ideal really cause it doesn't stick it can just be blown off the car.
Current temp is 10.9°C in and -2.7°C out .
I love holidays. Means you can actually do work at work in stead of solving user-problems.
Dinner is curried chicken with rice. Lots of hot curry powder on the chicken.

It has snowed again during the night. But just non-stick ice crystals so it's cleared easily from the car and the roads are more or less clear. Most of the day is overcast with wide sunny gaps.
Current temp is 11.1°C in and -4.1°C out .
Translation are going well. With only a couple of user-calls mixed in for entertainment.
Dinner is Ramen with a nice parsley sauce.

Just when you think spam in your in box is a problem. ( http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28579 ) Yep, vermin controlling cockroaches.
Of course they are afraid. ( http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28580 ) Actually every army is afraid of the truth.

There is a good mixture of nice blue and nice white up for most of the day. Later only the blue remains. With lots of starts poking out once it gets black. and it really starts to freeze.
Current temp is 9.8°C in and -10.2°C out .
Translating the message file. That is full of very repetitive stuff. Or rather almost repetitive. Considering extra spaces, spurious punctuation, random exclamation marks and unavoidable typing errors.
Dinner is rice with egg and leeks. I planned to eat-out as usual on Thursday but the Pizza-Hut was packed full. Probably people wanting to eat out before plunging into the year-end feed-fests.

Skin as a transmitter for signals is a great idea. ( http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28599 ) All you need is skin contact. So what about clothes? Does this mean we will soon be sitting at our computer naked?
Battle plans set out. Strategy mapped down. let the battle begin. ( http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=28602 ) The only problem is getting the marketing in line for Intel.
