Dry and clear (and 14°C) getting hot and sultry culminating into a some rain with lightning and thunder. But not convincing enough to call it a thunderstorm.

A bit warm for running, and no water cooling. My regular running shoes are getting worn out but I had a pair ready as replacement. They are the same size (43) but apparently just a bit shorter. When standing or walking that is hardly noticeable but after a few kilometer my toes start to hurt. When I get home I am definitively hobbling and after a shower I notice some toenails with reddish blue rings under them (and true blue by evening).
Which is rather uncomfortable.

Any one interested in blue, good as new, size 43 running shoes can come and get them.

 

Football, final

France - Italy : 0 - 1

A good match with Italy mostly defensive but not at all like they dug in against the Dutch. France was attacking more but couldn't break trough. The Italians did make their goal on one of their many counters.
I typed that at the end of the regular time. But before the actual end.
So, to spite me, the French, in the last minute of injury time, finally scored a goal while the Italians were already certain of winning. Leading in to extra time. The Italians were thoroughly dejected and the French, pressing their case scored the golden goal.
So final score : France - Italy : 2 - 1.
